Our third graders just wrapped up autumn with the sweetest project. The kids built birdhouses with their own hands — cozy little homes where sparrows can stay safe and warm all winter long. With a little help from their parents, these handmade shelters will soon find their way into backyards and onto windowsills, giving our feathered friends a fighting chance through the cold months ahead.
