American High School Diploma Program

The Georgian-American School’s English-Language Program offers students an American-style education in grades IX–XII.

Upon completion of the program, students receive an American High School Diploma, which is equivalent to a full general education certificate. The American diploma is recognized by the international educational organization COGNIA and the Ministry of Education of Georgia.

The American program provides:

  • Instruction in English, preparing students who wish to study abroad to thrive in an English-speaking environment.

  • Elective courses, allowing students to choose subjects that match their interests and future career goals, in addition to mandatory courses.

Preparation for International Exams:

Students are prepared for PSAT, SAT, AP, IELTS, and TOEFL exams.

The Georgian-American School, as an official representative of the College Board, conducts international examinations for both Georgian and foreign students. Students in grades IX–XII are required to take College Board exams (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, AP), which ensure thorough university preparation.

Advanced Placement (AP) Programs:

The AP program allows students to study university-level courses in advance and earn credits. Successfully completing AP courses and exams helps students accumulate credits that can be applied toward their university education. The AP program goes beyond the standard school curriculum. We offer 18 AP Subjects

College Counseling:

Within the English-language program, students receive support from a college counselor who provides individualized guidance tailored to each student’s goals. Students are informed about which exams are required based on the country, university, and faculty they plan to apply to. The counseling service assists with writing motivational letters, preparing necessary documentation, interview preparation, exploring funding options, and more.

International Conferences, Exchange Programs, and Olympiads:

The Georgian-American School is an official representative in Georgia for IJSO, REGENERON ISEF, MILSET, IMUNA, and ERASMUS+. Participation in these programs allows students to:
