Our third graders just wrapped up autumn with the sweetest project.
The kids built birdhouses with their own hands — cozy little homes where sparrows can stay safe and warm all winter long.
With a little help from their parents, these handmade shelters will soon find their way into backyards and onto windowsills, giving our feathered friends a fighting chance through the cold months ahead.
It's amazing how projects like this teach so much more than just building skills. They're learning what it means to care, to notice the world around them, and to take responsibility for the creatures who share it with us.
Little hands, big hearts — that's how we build a kinder world. 🌿🐦
