First Graders Bring Chess to Life with Creative Role-Play Activity
First-grade students at the Georgian-American School concluded their chess lessons for the semester with a special and memorable activity that combined learning with creative play. Students reviewed the rules and movement patterns of chess pieces, then each child selected their favorite piece and dressed in a matching costume. Grandmaster Bela Khotenashvili Visits the Georgian-American School
The Georgian-American School was honored to welcome chess grandmaster Bela Khotenashvili — a member of the Georgian national team, Under-16 World Champion, European Team Championship winner, multiple international tournament champion, and bronze medalist at the Chess Olympiad.
