World Savings Day — October 31
On October 31 the Georgian-American School hosted a special event in partnership with the National Bank of Georgia as part of the bank’s national information campaign. Seventh- and ninth-grade students attended an engaging session focused on the fundamentals of financial literacy, the importance of saving, and the history of the Georgian Lari. “Every Drop of Water is Precious”
As part of Georgian Water and Power’s informational campaign “Every Drop of Water is Precious,” an educational meeting was held at Georgian-American School with members of the eco-club “Larix.” During the session, students learned through a video presentation about: the journey water takes from glaciers to our taps; the importance of caring for water resources; how to protect every single drop of water; and how the rational use of water contributes to the sustainable develop


“My Imagination”
We had another wonderfully creative day at the Georgian-American School Library! Thanks to Mrs. Tamar Chelidze’s initiative, our third graders took part in a fun and inspiring activity called “My Imagination.” After listening to several engaging children’s stories and fables read by our librarian, each student brought their imagination to life by creating an illustration inspired by the stories. On October 28, our school 105 students passed𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟖 / 𝟗 and𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐓/ 𝗡𝗠𝗦𝗤𝗧 examinations of 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 B𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝. 𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝟖/𝟗 and 𝙋𝙎𝘼𝙏/𝙉𝙈𝙎𝙌𝙏 are important international assessment tools, and scores contribute to a student’s 𝐆𝐏𝐀. Celebrating Iakob Gogebashvili’s Birthday
A series of events dedicated to the birthday of Iakob Gogebashvili was successfully held in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades of the Georgian-American School . This day once again reminded us of Iakob Gogebashvili’s invaluable contribution to the development of the Georgian language, literature, and education . Such activities promote respect for national values and contribute to the education and enrichment of future generations .


“Eco Book” Presentation by Green Pole
Eco Club in Action! The Georgian-American School’s Eco Club keeps going strong! This week, we were excited to host representatives from Green Pole , who visited our students for an inspiring session on environmental awareness. They presented the “Eco Book” , shared valuable insights, and sparked an engaging discussion — our Eco Club members were super active and full of great ideas! To wrap up the event, we held a fun quiz where the winning team earned certificates and gifts


Inspiring Session with Marist University
Louis Higuera, Associate Director of International Admissions at Marist University , visited the Georgian-American School. He held an informative session with our American Diploma Program students, sharing insights about academic programs, campus life, opportunities and other important details.
