On October 31 the Georgian-American School hosted a special event in partnership with the National Bank of Georgia as part of the bank’s national information campaign. Seventh- and ninth-grade students attended an engaging session focused on the fundamentals of financial literacy, the importance of saving, and the history of the Georgian Lari.
The program included an interactive presentation and hands-on activities. Students had the opportunity to play a brand-new educational board game, “Financial Associations,” designed to build financial thinking and practical money-management skills. We are grateful to the National Bank of Georgia for gifting the game to our school.
Event highlights
Audience: 7th and 9th grade students
Topics covered: financial management, saving strategies, history of the lari
Activity: playthrough of the educational board game Financial Associations (donated to the school)
Organizers / class advisors: M. Ksovreli and L. Meskhi
This event is part of our ongoing commitment to equip students with real-world skills that prepare them for responsible financial decision-making.
