SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test)
In order to continue studying at universities in the United States of America and to obtain funding, a high school student passes standardized tests intended for universities, which accurately determine the student's knowledge of academic subjects and the level of general skills to apply them in practice. It is through these tests that the student's ability to learn various academic subjects provided by the university curriculum in English is tested.
SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test)- General Aptitude Test, which is the most reliable and valid standardized test.
Based on the scores obtained on this test, the universities test the general academic knowledge of the prospective student and the ability of how well the student can apply his knowledge in practice while performing a variety of tasks.
There are 4 SAT test centers operating in Tbilisi:
AP (Advanced Placement)
AP (Advanced Placement) - is a standardized test that evaluates the student's level of increased difficulty of the subject, that is, the student can choose both the normal and the enhanced learning level of the subject.
In our school, it is taught with increased difficultyAP research, AP Seminar, AP Calculus AB, AP calculus BC.
When studying the enhanced program, the student is given an additional 1.0 credit for a specific subject.
If a regular subject is graded at 4.0, then it will be graded at 5.0. which significantly improves the student'sGPA (Grade Point Average).
Like the SAT, AP test materials are shipped from the US in a sealed box and are opened on the day of the test, a few minutes before the test begins.
