Hearts and Hands: GAS Students Support Local Charity

Our Student Council recently organized a charity fair that brought the whole school community together. The funds raised went toward purchasing food supplies for "Tkhilis Guli," a local organization doing incredible work in our community.

Yesterday, Student Council members and our Eco Club visited the organization to drop off the donations and see their operation firsthand. Eco Club coordinator Lika Meskhi joined the students for this meaningful experience.

Elene Panjikidze and Irma Dolidze from "Tkhilis Guli" gave our students a warm welcome and walked them through the organization's daily work. Every day, they prepare and distribute meals to 250 people in need, all of which are funded entirely by donations.

Our students didn't just observe, they rolled up their sleeves and helped prepare meals alongside the staff, getting hands-on experience with community service.

At GAS, we're proud to see our students developing empathy and taking social responsibility seriously. We believe the best lessons in kindness come from doing, not just learning about it.
