On March 28, the Georgian-American School was filled with the soul of poetry and song during a literary-musical evening titled “This Is How They Loved in Georgia.”
Adorned in traditional Georgian garments, the performers brought to life the timeless love stories of the nation’s great poets and cultural icons, weaving words and emotion into an unforgettable tapestry.
Students of 9th grade were joined on stage by their siblings and parents, adding a heartfelt, familial touch to the evening. With stirring melodies, graceful traditional dances, and echoes of old Georgian songs, the event left a lasting impression on all.
The evening was directed and envisioned by teacher Tamar Tcereteli.
Musical direction by Ia Khurtsilava.
