“The World of The Knight in the Panther’s Skin.”

As part of Georgian Language Week, the 8(1) grade students of the Georgian-American School presented a project titled “The World of The Knight in the Panther’s Skin.”

The students spoke about the poem’s author and historical era, calligraphers, manuscripts, and rare printed editions. They also discussed the art of The Knight in the Panther’s Skin, including illustrated scenes, miniatures, and translations of the poem. The students read stanzas in five different languages.

The presentation concluded with a costumed stage performance — “The Coronation of Tinatin.”
