Meeting with Beloved Children's Author - Mariam Tsiklauri

A Special Meeting with Beloved Children's Author - Mariam Tsiklauri

"The night is wiser than the morning" – with these words, the renowned children's author and Gala Literary Award laureate, Mariam Tsiklauri, began her inspiring meeting!

Third-grade students listened to fascinating legends about Georgian surnames, learned about the history of the "Festival of Lost Words," and enjoyed Mariam Tsiklauri’s poetry.

Curious young readers eagerly asked the beloved author questions about books, literary characters, and her own childhood.

As per tradition, the event concluded with a photo session and book signing.

The Georgian-American School frequently hosts distinguished figures from various fields.

In celebration of International Reading Day on February 2nd, the past two weeks were dedicated to visits from children's authors.

Meetings with writers will further deepen students' love for books and literature!
