Integrated Science and STEM lesson

At the Georgian-American School, 4th-grade students gave presentations on environmental topics during an open, integrated Science and STEM lesson. They also showcased their own handmade STEM projects.STEM is one of our school’s key priorities.

In the GAS STEM Club, our young inventors work together in teams to bring their ideas to life. Using Arduino Uno microcontrollers and Tinkercad, they first design virtual devices and then build them in real life.

The projects included:

  • A photoresistor

  • An automatic plant watering system

  • Color-sensing sensors

  • Smart trash bins
