Germany, 2017



From April 16-22, the Georgian student team participated in the 24th International Conference of Young Scientists, held in Stuttgart, Germany. Young scientists from 29 countries competed in five scientific categories.

The Georgian team consisted of 10 students from the Georgian-American High School and Georgian-American School.

  • Silver Medal – Tinatin Kamkamidze and Archil Gelenava in the Life Sciences category.

  • Bronze Medal – Mariam Gigauri in Physics.

  • Bronze Medal – Mariam Rostomashvili in Mathematics.

  • Bronze Medal – Mamuka Kobakhidze and Davit Gudadze in Mathematics.

  • Special Prize – Giorgi Bugechashvili and Tinatin Lagadze in Mathematics.

At the closing event, each country presented a cultural performance. The Georgian dance, accompanied by guitar music, was highly praised.

In May, students from our schools will represent Georgia once again, this time in the USA. The Intel ISEF will be held this year in Los Angeles, the capital of California.
