"Georgia in Non-Georgian Sources" – An Educational Celebration of History and Culture
On December 25, the Georgian-American School hosted an educational event titled "Georgia in Non-Georgian Sources," demonstrating that history is not merely a narration of the past - it is a living dialogue between cultures and eras.
Students from both the Georgian and American sectors presented Georgia's rich history through diverse perspectives found in foreign written sources, offering fresh insights into how the nation has been perceived and documented across different cultures and time periods.
The event was made especially memorable through beautiful performances of Georgian dance and vocal pieces that captivated the audience and showcased students' artistic talents alongside their academic research.
At the conclusion, all participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and scholarly contributions.
The project powerfully illustrated the importance of studying history within an international context and highlighted how such initiatives develop critical thinking, research skills, and academic rigor.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every participant, organizer, and audience member for creating the warm atmosphere that made this day truly unforgettable.
