Ninth-grade students from the Georgian-American School participated in the educational program "From Sails to Clothing," organized by the Union of Tbilisi Museums at the Kote and Soso Tsereteli Memorial House-Museum.
During their visit, students discovered the scientific contributions of Kote Tsereteli and explored the artistic legacy of Soso Tsereteli, whose work powerfully captures themes of freedom and creative expression.
Through hands-on activities and engaging visual materials, students learned how ship sails evolved into modern denim, why jeans became an iconic symbol of freedom and independence, and heard compelling stories from the Iron Curtain era that illuminate the enduring value of liberty.
