To mark World Read Aloud Day, GAS welcomed acclaimed Georgian children's author Vasil Guleuri to meet with 5th-grade students.

Mr. Guleuri shared the remarkable story behind his latest book, The Story of the Boy Lost in a Dream - a narrative that originated in his own dream. He read captivating excerpts and also introduced students to a new, innovative pop-up book, Georgia.

The session sparked engaging discussion about character creation, the writer's craft, and the literary world. Students asked thoughtful questions, gaining insight into the creative process behind the stories they love.

GAS regularly hosts authors and poets to foster a love of reading and strengthen students' connection to literature.
