Exploring Political Systems: A Lecture on Democracy, Authoritarianism, and Totalitarianism

The Georgian-American School regularly invites accomplished professionals from various fields to share their experiences with our students.

This time, we explored:

  • Democratic and non-democratic regimes

  • Authoritarianism and totalitarianism

9th-grade students from both programs attended the session.

Mr. Giorgi Tavartkiladze, an international law specialist, led an engaging discussion on different political systems, their key differences, and their impact on today's world.

Sessions like this help strengthen our students' critical thinking skills and deepen their civic awareness.
