Students from the Georgian-American School's Eco Club recently visited the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarism as part of an educational excursion that explored the intersection of civic responsibility and environmental stewardship.
The museum houses copies of key documents that trace the development of Georgian parliamentarism, including materials preserved in foreign archives and libraries worldwide.
During the visit, students explored exhibition halls, watched thematic documentary films, and received expert guidance on the history and evolution of Georgia's parliamentary system.
The excursion was designed to help students understand the vital connection between environmental awareness and civic engagement—specifically, how governmental decisions are made and the essential role active citizenship plays in advancing the country's sustainable development.
