The Georgian-American School recently hosted a creative workshop on making holiday accessories, led by Georgian designer and artist Sofo Minadze.

Students explored handcrafting techniques, contemporary design approaches, and the complete creative process—from developing initial concepts to creating finished visual forms.

Workshop Goals:

  • Foster creative thinking and innovation

  • Deepen students' engagement with the creative process

  • Encourage reflection on cultural identity and artistic expression

Beyond practical skill-building, the workshop emphasized teamwork, collaborative idea-sharing, and celebrating each student's unique creative vision.

This workshop is part of a broader educational and creative project that will include exchange activities and a joint exhibition in Greece, organized in collaboration with the Georgian student diaspora.
