GAS and GAHS Named Schools of the Year

Tbilisi, December 19, 2025 — The Georgian-American School (GAS) and Georgian-American High School (GAHS) have received major recognition at an International awards ceremony, with their directors honored for educational excellence and leadership.

Leadership Recognition

Irma Meskishvili and Mamuka Meskishvili, directors of GAS and GAHS respectively, were awarded the prestigious international LEADER OF THE YEAR award at a ceremony held at the Paragraph Hotel on December 19, 2025.

Schools of the Year

Both institutions were recognized as Schools of the Year by the Swiss Rating Association and the National Business Ratings Union. The awards acknowledge:

• Excellence in international educational programs

• Innovation in education

• Outstanding achievements in international Olympiads and conferences

This award is an international acknowledgment of the dedication of the leadership teams and academic staff of the Georgian-American School and the Georgian-American High School, and of their commitment to the highest educational standards.
