I-Fest Projects Competition

The I-Fest Projects Competition was held for the twelfth time on November 5-8, 2021.

I-Fest is the largest conference of young scientists in the world on the African continent, which this year was attended by more than 1000 students from 40 countries. They submitted 450 projects in 11 sections.

The Georgian team, which is entirely Georgian-American, was very successful  The school was staffed with students.

Georgian students presented 2 projects in the mathematics section.

1. Loci Using Three Fixed Points- Mariam Anasashvili and Giorgi Gogiashvili.

2. Generalization of Van Schooten's Theorem - Ana Andghuladze and Mari Okujava.

Both projects won gold medals!

Two golds in one section - this is the first time in the history of Georgia!

In general, only representatives of 11 countries took gold,

Considering the number of their population, Georgia is in the absolute first place!
