Germany 2017

Georgian team of students visited Germany on April 16-22. At the International Conference of Young Scientists in Stuttgart, held for the twenty-fourth time this year. Young scientists from 29 countries of the world competed with each other in 5 scientific categories.

 

The Georgian team consisted of 10 students from the Georgian-American High School and the Georgian-American School.

  • Silver medal - Tinatin Kamkamidze and Archil Gelenava - in the category of life sciences;

  • Bronze Medal - Mariam Gigauri - Physics;

  • Bronze Medal - Mariam Rostomashvili - Mathematics; _ cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

  • Bronze medal - Mamuka Kobakhidze and Davit Gudadze - Mathematics;

  • Special prize - Giorgi Bugechashvili and Tinatin Laghadze - Mathematics.


At the end of the conference, in the final evening, each country presented its own cultural number. Georgian dance with guitar accompaniment deserved great approval.
In May, the students of our schools will now defend the dignity of Georgia in America. This year INTEL ISEF will be held in Los Angeles, the capital of California.
