A 21-member delegation from Georgian-American High Schools and Georgian-American Schools paid a visit to New York on February 27-March 5, 2020. They participated in an international conference held at the UN headquarters. Participants had the opportunity to take part in interesting debates, discuss current events in the world and find ways to solve current problems.
Along with the busy academic part, the students had quite an interesting cultural program. Students visited the following New York City attractions: Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square on Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, American Museum of Natural History, Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
This event is held annually in New York and it has already been included in the annual plan of our schools.
